Welcome to Dec My Room Los Angeles. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping critically ill children requiring extended hospital stays through the design of their hospital room in their favorite theme or wish. These children may be admitted with cancer, transplants, or other therapies requiring prolonged hospitalization. Our talented team of volunteers thoughtfully bring each child’s wish to life by providing decorations and gift items such as bedding, rugs, pillows, slippers, toys, DVD’s, wall art, games and books. Our mission is to make each child smile for a moment and convert their hospital room into a happy, healing space.
Our ultimate mission is to provide a positive atmosphere of hope, joy and excitement for some of the most ill children of our city. We endeavor to make their stay a little brighter and more comfortable by making their design wishes a reality. Ultimately, our hope is to aid in their recovery - as we believe, a happy patient is a healing patient.
